There
are many reasons to cruise with P&O, but one of the most
important is the sheer choice of cruises they offer. Unlike
many other cruise lines they don't simply repeat the same
itineraries time after time. You can choose from an extraordinarily
diverse range of ports: 180 different places in 75 countries!
Choose from a range of sun-worshipping island-hopping cruises,
to historical landmarks, or a spectacular natural wonders
cruise. Or maybe a combination!
Life on Board
In many ways, your life on board as a P&O Cruise passenger
is very much what you want it to be. If you're looking for
total peace, calm and relaxation,
you'll find it. If you're looking for entertainment, nightlife
and adventure you'll find that too. The fact is, most people
want a bit of both and P&O Cruises are only too happy
to oblige. There's so much choice - of food, entertainment,
facilities and accommodation - on a P&O cruise, that it's
very hard to sum it all up. Each ship has its own particular
personality and atmosphere.
Cabins
Staying on board is designed to be pleasant
and luxurious! P&O goes to all sorts of trouble to make
sure your stay is a wonderful relaxing one. For example, you
will be assigned a Cabin Steward whose job it is to make sure
you are completely pampered. From waking you up (at your designated
time of course!) and bringing you tea and biscuits to turning
your bed down at night, his job is to ensure you are well
looked after.
As for the cabins, they were designed to appeal to the widest
possible spectrum of people and so vary in size and specification
according to individual passenger requirements and budgets.
Choose from a wide selection of cabins, from 3 or 4 berth
family cabins and single rooms with king-size beds, to staterooms
and deluxe suites with their own balconies. All have refrigerator,
colour TV, direct-dial telephone, shower and hairdryer, and
individually controlled air-conditioning. Above all, all cabins
are characterised by the same design detail and innovation
that regular passengers have come to know and expect from
P&O.
Themes & Celebrations
The Honeymoon Collection and The Anniversary Collection are,
as their names suggest, for newlyweds or those commemorating
a landmark anniversary. If you're one of these couples, you'll
enjoy special privileges and extra touches of luxury (Champagne,
flowers, on-board credit, for example). The Newcomers' Collection
is designed for holidaymakers who've never cruised before,
to help you get the best out of your maiden voyage.
P&O also has what they call their Theme Cruises, designed
for people who want to combine their holidays with their own
special interests or passions. Classical music has already
been announced, with a range of other themes to be confirmed
including Antiques, Comedy, Golf, Sixties, Jazz, Natural World,
Seventies and more! |
